Newsletter of the Queen City Trailblazers Pony Club April, 2002

Hey Trailblazers!

The Jumping Clinic went really well and I think everyone got a lot out of it. We owe Rhonda Seigo a big thanks for giving such a good clinic at such a reasonable price. I hope next time we will see more of you out there.

On April 12 & 13, I am taking Becky and Tanith to Saskatoon for the Regional Quiz. Wish us luck everybody.

Your District Commissioner,
Debbie Mills (525-4770)

Fundraising

Thanks to everybody for selling chocolate bunnies. We still have a few left and will be selling them for $3.00 to anybody that still needs a chocolate fix after Easter.

Our next fundraising event will be the concession at the Dressage Show on May 18th and 19th. We can use volunteers to make chili and work the concession that weekend.

Blaze Says - Single File is best on roads. Never ride more than two side by side.

Test Preparation

To prepare for the testing, you should go through the requirements for your level and read the sections of the manual that cover those topics. Also, try the sample test I handed out.

On May 1 at 7:00, we will be having a Test Preparation Night at Jan's house (3523 Burns Rd.). This will give you a chance to try out a sample written/oral test and get some tips on what to expect at the practical exams.

Remember to hand your Test Application in by April 27.

Jump Building Day

We will be having a Jump Building on May 11 after the written exam. We can use some help to build and paint jump standards and poles.
