About Canadian Pony Club

Pony Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating young horsepeople and introducing them to many new activities. Some of these activities include Show Jumping, Dressage, Prince Philip Games, Rally, and Tetrathlon. It also offers an education program with levels or grades that members can achieve as they learn.

Pony Club started in Great Britain in 1928 to get children interested in horses. It educated its members about horses, how to ride and care for them, and provided instruction for those who otherwise couldn't afford it.

Pony Club is now an international club with branches in the US, Great Britain, Canada and many more countries. Canada has been a part of the PONY CLUB map for 60 years. The Canadian Pony Club has over 4000 members with over 150 clubs.
